The MacArthur Cardinals football team (Irving, TX), was beaten 34-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX)

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks come into the 6A Region I District 6 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Hebron was beaten by Ryan (Denton, TX), 27-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Richland for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. MacArthur will meet a Rebels team coming off a 47-21 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 0-2.
