The Kent Denver Sun Devils (Englewood, CO) football edged the visiting Silver Creek Raptors (Longmont, CO), 36-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Sun Devils face the Lamar Savages (Lamar, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 10. Kent Denver will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Savages enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 20-9 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, CO).

The Raptors (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Frederick tipped Prairie View (Henderson, CO), 6-0, in a non-league contest.
