September 4, 2021: Hanover Township, PA 18706 Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA), 24-21 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hanover Area improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, September 10. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-1. Holy Cross lost 54-27 in their recent non-league test against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA)
With the loss, Susquehanna drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Sabers host Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to battle the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 test on Friday, September 10. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 2-0. Lakeland won 27-14 in their recent league test against Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA)
