November 4, 2011: East Greenwich, RI 02818 The East Greenwich Avengers football team (East Greenwich, RI), was ripped 45-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI)
The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, North Kingstown was ripped by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 49-7, in a league challenge.
The Avengers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moses Brown for a Division III challenge on Saturday, November 12. East Greenwich will meet a Quakers team coming off a 15-14 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 5-3.
