The Emporia Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Junction City Bluejays to 36 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washburn Rural for a Centennial contest on Friday, February 24. Emporia will meet a Blues team coming off a 78-70 league loss to Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Blues record now stands at 14-5.
