The Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) basketball crushed the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), 61-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Bridgeport was trounced by Ogallala (Ogallala, NE), 69-63, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Overton for a non-league test on Saturday, January 9. Maxwell will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 47-45 non-league win over Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
