The Fairmont Cardinals basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans to 49 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson County Central for a AA Section 3 contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Titans (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Wolverines enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Sibley East was defeated by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN), 82-46, in a league contest.
