The Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR), 59-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hurricane (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, AR). The Patriots go into the 5A East test with a 19-9 record. In their last test, Marion was trounced by Paragould (Paragould, AR), 52-39, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 16-12 record. They play next when they travel to Searcy for a 5A East test on Thursday, February 24. Nettleton will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 60-49 league loss to Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-23.
