Texas High School Football - Celina topples Whitesboro
October 30, 2009: Celina, TX 75009 The Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) football defeated the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), 38-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Bobcats face the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 bout, on Friday, November 6. Celina will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-0 record after their 38-14 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, TX).
The Bearcats (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Sanger (Sanger, TX). The Indians enter the 3A Region II District 9 bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Sanger lost by Prosper (Prosper, TX), 41-21, in a league bout.
