September 16, 2023: Franklin, GA 30217 The Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) softball the host Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA), 8-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the 2A Region 3 bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Appling County by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 6-1, in a non-league bout.
The Braves now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Temple for a 1A D-I Region 4 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Heard County will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.
