Georgia High School Basketball - North Oconee nips Cedar Shoals
January 30, 2024: Athens, GA 30605 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) and the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), saw North Oconee's basketball squad hold off Cedar Shoals by a count of 57-54.
With the victory, North Oconee upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to play the Vikings in a AAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-11.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Cedar Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 59-51 league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
