The Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL) football overcame the visiting Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL), 38-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Andalusia Bulldogs (Andalusia, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Anniston will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 42-8 non-league win over Opp (Opp, AL).
