The Oscar Smith Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Ocean Lakes Dolphins to 33 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Oscar Smith will battle a Sundevils team coming off a 57-46 league win over Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-7.

The Dolphins (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions enter the Beach contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Green Run was routed by West Springfield (Springfield, VA), 54-53, in a non-league contest.
