The Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) basketball nipped the host Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE), 37-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Broncos (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Tri County got by Southern (Wymore, NE), 42-27, in a league test.
