In Friday's non-league outing, the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), by a margin of 71-52.

The Cardinals (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
