Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Van Buren Pointers (Van Buren, AR) and the visiting Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR), saw Van Buren's basketball squad knock off Greenbrier by a count of 46-37.

With the victory, Van Buren upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A West challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-16. Greenwood lost 61-42 in their recent league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AR)

Next up, the Panthers play the Russellville Cyclones (Russellville, AR) in a 5A West challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Greenbrier will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
