October 23, 2015: Tipton, IA 52772 The Tipton Tigers football team (Tipton, IA), was ripped 44-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA)
The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Trailblazers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Beckman trounced Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA), 20-14, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 28. Tipton will confront a Raiders team coming off a 54-7 league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-3.
