April 5, 2019: Rockton, IL 61072 The North Boone Vikings baseball team (Poplar Grove, IL), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL)
The Indians now hold a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield South for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 6. Hononegah will confront a Cougars team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Morris (Morris, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Vikings confront the Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL) in a Big Northern outing, on Monday, April 8. North Boone will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Sterling (Sterling, IL).
