Jasper Wildcats (Jasper, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 59-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jasper upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Wildcats host Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 13-6.

Next up, the Chargers play the South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Pike Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record.
