Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aurora upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Huskies host Norris (Firth, NE) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Norris won 49-27 in their recent non-league bout against Seward (Seward, NE)

Next up, the Vikings play the Broken Bow Indians (Broken Bow, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
