Gorham Fayette Eagles (Fayette, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Edon Bombers (Edon, OH), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gorham Fayette upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Montpelier (Montpelier, OH) to play the Locomotives in a Buckeye Border bout on Friday, February 16. The Locomotives come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Montpelier won 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Continental (Continental, OH)

Next up, the Bombers play the Antwerp Archers (Antwerp, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Edon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Archers come into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 65-26 league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH).
