In Thursday's non-league match, the host McLeod Longhorns basketball team scored a good 52-43 triumph over the Harmony Eagles.

In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 17. McLeod will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 61-37 non-league loss to Bowie (Simms, TX).
