September 14, 2018: Waterford, MI 48329 The Kettering Captains football team (Waterford, MI), was beaten 20-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI)
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, South Lyon East knocked off Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 28-13, in a league challenge.
The Captains now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mott for a Lakes Valley challenge on Saturday, September 22. Kettering will meet a Corsairs team coming off a 52-13 league loss to Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 3-1.
