Louisiana High School Basketball - Southern Lab edges Northside
December 22, 2017: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the host Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 43-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Kittens (6-6) will now prepare for their test against McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles go into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, McDonogh 35 was tipped by Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA), 61-51, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Natchitoches Central for a non-league test on Sunday, December 24. Northside will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 67-50 non-league win over Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 14-1.
