The La Porte Slicers ran past the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 64-44 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Slicers face the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 28. La Porte will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Berries enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN).

With the defeat, Hanover Central moves to 6-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Friday, December 30. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 6-3. Tippecanoe Valley won 74-35 in their recent non-league game against Lowell (Lowell, IN)
