In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), by a count of 53-38.

The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN). The Governors go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Hammond Morton defeated Highland (Highland, IN), 74-57, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Wheeler for a Greater South Shore outing on Saturday, December 17. Hanover Central will clash with a Bearcats squad coming off a 75-31 league loss to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-4.
