Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), saw Lake Central's basketball squad hold off Munster by a tally of 47-44.

With the victory, Lake Central improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Munster will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Leo (Leo, IN).
