Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central crushes Andrean

December 8, 2022: Merrillville, IN 46410

Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN), 85-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Indians host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Hanover Central won 53-30 in their recent non-league bout against North Newton (Morocco, IN)

Next up, the Fighting 59ers clash with the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Andrean will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-44 non-league win over Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN).
