In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN), by a margin of 61-55.

The Fighting 59ers (6-13) will now prepare for their outing against Munster (Munster, IN). The Mustangs go into the Northwest Crossroads outing with a 19-2 record. In their last outing, Munster got by Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN), 84-66, in a non-league outing.
