Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN), 48-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Indians travel to La Porte (La Porte, IN) to clash with the Slicers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Slicers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. La Porte won 55-23 in their recent non-league bout against Logansport (Logansport, IN)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. South Bend Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Berries go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 55-23 non-league loss to La Porte (La Porte, IN).
