The Munster Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host East Chicago Central Cardinals to 51 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crown Point for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Munster will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-59 non-league win over Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Chesterton was defeated by Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
