December 30, 2023: Carthage, MO 64836 The Carthage Tigers basketball team (Carthage, MO), was overwhelmed 53-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO)
The Zizzers now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale for a Ozarks battle on Thursday, January 4. West Plains will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Marshfield (Marshfield, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 11-2.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Joplin (Joplin, MO). The Eagles come into the Central Ozarks battle with a 2-6 record.
