Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Methacton thwarts Strath Haven
December 10, 2021: Wallingford, PA 19086 The Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) basketball knocked off the host Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA), 56-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Lansdale Catholic went down by Souderton (Souderton, PA), 61-46, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marple Newtown for a Central test on Tuesday, December 14. Strath Haven will encounter a Fightin' Tigers squad coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA). The Fightin' Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
