January 26, 2013: Hammond, IN 46324 The Gavit Gladiators basketball team (Hammond, IN), was routed 59-12 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN)
The Eagles now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Concord for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 29. Adams will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 60-39 league loss to Wawasee (Syracuse, IN). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-14.
The Gladiators (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, East Chicago Central triumphed over Munster (Munster, IN), 47-44, in a non-league battle.
