The Washington Eagles football team (Houston, TX), was beaten 34-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX)

The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Furr (Houston, TX). The Brahmans come into the 4A-1 Region III District 11 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Furr was beaten by Sealy (Sealy, TX), 50-18, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Navasota for a 4A-1 Region III District 11 challenge on Friday, November 7. Washington will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 56-0 league win over Wheatley (Houston, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 9-0.
