Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 52-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westminster upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Mt. Hebron lost 52-27 in their recent league bout against River Hill (Clarksville, MD)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Glenelg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
