Arkansas High School Basketball - Bigelow crushes Jacksonville Lighthouse
January 26, 2024: Bigelow, AR 72016 Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR), 77-46 in a league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Saturday, January 27. Bigelow will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 20-3 record after their 45-30 league win over Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR).
With the defeat, Jacksonville Lighthouse moves to 8-15 on the year. The Wolves host Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-20. Magnet Cove lost 67-15 in their recent league game against England (England, AR)
