January 2, 2024: Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the York Wildcats (York, ME) and the host Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME), saw York's basketball squad overcome Cape Elizabeth by a tally of 58-38.
With the victory, York improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lake Region (Naples, ME) to confront the Lakers in a B South challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Lake Region lost 47-45 in their recent league challenge against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME)
Next up, the Capers confront the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Cape Elizabeth will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 65-44 non-league win over Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME).
