The Menomonie Mustangs football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Rice Lake Warriors to 12 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeForest for a non-league battle on Friday, August 25. Menomonie will face a Norskies squad coming off a 51-14 non-league loss to Waunakee (Waunakee, WI). The Norskies record now stands at 0-1.
