February 14, 2019: Fruitport, MI 49415 The Calvary Christian Eagles (Fruitport, MI) basketball felled the visiting Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI), 57-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI). The Mountaineers go into the Alliance test with a 8-5 record.
The Cougars now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rudolf Steiner for a non-league test on Friday, February 15. Calhoun Christian will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 50-28 non-league win over Lutheran (Westland, MI). The Storm record now stands at 14-2.
