Pennsylvania High School Football - Wyoming Area sneaks past Crestwood
September 8, 2023: Exeter, PA 18643 The Wyoming Area Warriors football squad scored 29 points and restricted the visiting Crestwood Comets to 22 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greater Nanticoke Area for a Wyoming Valley 4A battle on Friday, September 15. Wyoming Area will face a Trojans squad coming off a 40-13 non-league loss to Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
Coming up next, the Comets face the Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 15. Crestwood will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 20-13 league loss to Pittston (Pittston, PA).
