Game Summary
SR RHP Zane Gelphman allowed just one earned run over 5 1/3 IP in his first start of the year and the Cherokees used a 5-run 4th inning to knock off Sierra-Pacific 7-3 to remain undefeated in the Selma Easter Tourney. SR 3B Cameron Greenough was 2 X 4 and punctuated Sequoia's big inning with a two-run triple to the wall in left-center. SS Jarrett Crowell relieved Gelphman in the 6th and recorded the final two outs to secure his first save of the season in a game shortened to six innings because of a tournament time limit. The win pushes Sequoia's record to 13-7-1.
