Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Monte Vista Pirates (Monte Vista, CO) and the host Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO), saw Monte Vista's basketball squad overcome Cotopaxi by a tally of 55-45.

With the victory, Monte Vista improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Custer County (Westcliffe, CO) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Custer County won 55-14 in their recent non-league challenge against South Park (Fairplay, CO)
