Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Belle Vernon trounces East Allegheny
December 28, 2021: Belle Vernon, PA 15012 The Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA) basketball crushed the visiting East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA), 79-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Leopards (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Scotties go into the WPIAL 4A 3 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Southmoreland walloped East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA), 68-58, in a non-league test.
The Wild Cats now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Tuesday, January 4. East Allegheny will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
