September 10, 2021: Monroe, IA 50170 The Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) football defeated the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), 21-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) in a 1A District 6 bout, on Friday, September 17. Pella Christian will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 57-12 non-league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA).
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets enter the 2A District 7 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Iowa Falls-Alden defeated South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 17-14, in a non-league bout.
