October 9, 2015: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 The Elk Grove Grenadiers football team (Elk Grove Village, IL), was knocked off 45-35 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Huskies (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Wildcats come into the Mid-Suburban - East challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Wheeling knocked off Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL), 35-19, in a league challenge.
The Grenadiers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prospect for a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Friday, October 16. Elk Grove will meet a Knights team coming off a 26-21 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.
