January 4, 2023: Flint, MI 48458 The Beecher Buccaneers (Flint, MI) basketball felled the visiting Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI), 63-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Powers Catholic thwarted Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI), 53-52, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Linden for a Flint Metro test on Tuesday, January 10. Flushing will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
