Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Peters Township trounces Belle Vernon
February 14, 2022: McMurray, PA 15317 The Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), 62-39 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado go into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Butler walloped Armstrong (Kittanning, PA), 58-53, in a non-league test.
The Leopards now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Quaker Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 22. Belle Vernon will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 11-10.
