Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team trounce the host Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), 58-24 in a league battle.

The Indians now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portage for a Western Pennsylvania - Northern battle on Monday, January 17. Conemaugh Township will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 75-37 league win over Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-0.

The Yellow Jackets (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Vikings come into the Western Pennsylvania - Northern battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Blacklick Valley was overwhelmed by Portage (Portage, PA), 75-37, in a league battle.
