January 20, 2022: Nanty Glo, PA 15943 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) and the visiting Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), saw Blacklick Valley's basketball squad hold off Ferndale by a tally of 31-28.
With the victory, Blacklick Valley improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to play the Bluejays in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Friday, January 21. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Conemaugh Valley won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge, on Friday, January 21. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
